While many designers opted for a dark, monochrome palette for Spring 2012, Mandy Coon experimented with color–and, not one to pile poppy brights into her collections, it certainly made an impact. In fact, I was so distracted by the fact that her lineup was void of her standard blacks and whites, I completely overlooked the shoes. Upon a second review, however, I spotted the amazing leather, color-blocked sandals. They are offered in a black-and-blue combination, but I prefer the darker, black-and-gray style–which, to me, are more “classic Mandy Coon”. -Kayla Unnerstall
