Ever since Stella McCartney introduced her popular perforated “thigh-high” boots for FW09, lines from Christian Louboutin to Prada have launched like elongated boot styles—that could easily be mistaken for leather skinnies, if paired with a tunic-length top. It seems over-the-knee boots non-fashion folks are still warming up to have already given way to a new, more-”risque” shape. Deemed “puss-in boots” across the blogosphere, V-highs are taking footwear to new levels of sexy—which makes me wonder if we’ll look back at Pretty Woman and mock her prudish getup…
