Small Fragments of Time: Tanner by Lucia Giacani for Twill

From the clothing and hair to the red accents and models’ demeanor, pretty much everything about the “Small Fragments of Time” editorial—featured in Twill Magazine—reminds me of images featuring the dark fictional character Emily the Strange. All that are missing are black tights and a few sarcastic tag lines (i.e., “I WANT YOU to leave me alone”).

This editorial definitely channels Emily the Strange, but in an almost uncomfortable way. Maybe it’s because the little girl is also channelling a bit of Samara from the movie the Ring. Especially the one where she’s standing on the chair.
I love this picture ! Make me think to the Adam’s Family and Emily the Strange !
