Created by Australian artists/designers Kain Picken and Fiona Lau, the FFIXXED label—composed of simple designs and high-quality, natural fibers—is all about comfort. The FW10 collection, called “We Are Building A Civilized Space Here”, is centered on neutral colors and lots of layering—with a few of the pieces (including scarves, hand warmers and knit sweaters) made oversized for added drama. The unisex pieces also contribute interest, including the checkered poncho—which was shown both traditionally and slung over one shoulder for a layering effect over a jacket. Personally, I’m partial to the oversized knit sweater; if in my wardrobe, I’m sure I’d cozy up in the undoubtedly-comfy look all winter. -Michelle Chase
