Well-known and acclaimed for his unique and extremely creative hair designs, Angelo Seminara has been experimenting with hair color and texture since 1995. His work has been featured in a number of glossies and on the runways of fashion‘s top designers; he works at least 30 shows every runway season, between New York, Paris, London and Milan. In 2008, he was named British Hairdresser of the Year.

Seminara’s most interesting techniques involve cutting and dying hair to achieve looks that trick the eye; he can give hair the illusion of being crimped by dying it, and has tie-dyed hair to mimic the look of animal fur. Included in Seminara’s portfolio are images of colorful yarn tightly woven into a model’s hair. The results are amazing, and definitely warrant a second look. -Michelle Chase
