One of my most memorable NYFW experiences was Dennis Hopper’s surprise cameo during G-Star’s FW08 presentation. For a brief millisecond, the break in the music appeared a gaff before an instantly-recognizable voice boomed from behind the curtain. Apparently finding a lifelong connection to the poem, it wasn’t Hopper’s first time reciting Rudyard Kipling’s 1889, “If—”.
