SS10 HEADBANDS

One trend that emerged from the SS10 shows was headbands; all kinds of headbands. Charlotte Ronson, Lacoste and Hermes took a sporty approach to headbands, showing them sweatband style a la old-school tennis player John McEnroe. Bottega Veneta showed thick bands worn in a traditional manner, sweeping all of the hair back to expose the face. At Twenty8Twelve, headbands were fashioned out of thick, printed material, almost turban-like, while YSL proved that beaded headbands are yet another way to dress up a look.
While most of the headband looks had a sporty vibe, not all did. It just goes to show that, when you think there’s nothing left to do with your hair, there are options. Incorporate any kind of headband into your wardrobe to look on-trend this season and next.
