SPRING BEAUTY TREND: WINGED EYELINER

Cat-eyed, or “winged”, eyeliner was a huge beauty trend on the SS10 runways. Seen everywhere from Marc Jacobs to Oscar de la Renta, this beauty trend is both easy to recreate and totally wearable.
Oscar de la Renta and Roberto Cavalli were on the same page, both showing simple, traditional and heavy black winged liner. Badgley Mischka toned it down a bit for a more elegant and wearable look. Donna Karan and Marc Jacobs, on the other hand, took the cat eye another direction; using white instead of black, the resulting look was futuristic. Meanwhile, L.A.M.B. decided to add color to an already-bold look, foreshadowing (ha) a big trend for FW10.
