Opening with the song “Let’s Go Crazy” by Prince, Balmain ’s Christophe Decarnin set the tone for a fabulous FW10 show. What followed was a collection inspired by ’70s-meets-’80s glam rock, complete with gold, gold and more gold. Add in some brocade, plunging-down-to-there V-neck dresses, drool-worthy skintight pantsuits, leopard print and—gasp!—a band jacket (Be still my heart!), and you’ve got yet another unforgettable Balmain lineup—with looks that are great for the stage, the red carpet and the sidewalk.
