It’s rare that an entire collection knocks my socks of, but—when it comes to Katy Rodriguez’s SS10 collection—I want each and every piece. Co-founder of vintage clothing heaven Resurrection, Rodriguez’s eye for style more than translates in her 5-year-old namesake label. Known for her loves for fantasy and architectural design, Rodriguez’s passion for all things unorthodox is evident in her latest collection. Based on the charm of decades past, her SS10 lineup has a timeless elegance, a punk edge and a girlish innocence. I love it.

The feminine party dress, with its abundance of layers and pleated fabric, looks fit for a punk princess a la Gwen Stefani. Rodriguez also revealed a variety of looks containing fishnet, animal print and bras-as-tops. I’m loving the fishnet top paired with the zebra print skirt; I can’t help but think how attention-grabbing (to say the least) the combo would look sans bra. But, considering I’m not a celebrity, nor do I have brass balls, I think I’ll leave that fashion risk to Lady Gaga.
