MILLY LAUNCHES JEWELRY FOR SS10
Thursday, February 18th, 2010
Designer Michelle Smith’s Milly line has been a longtime favorite of mine. Like the woman she designs for, her line is sweet and sophisticated with a definite retro feel. Lucky for us, she has expanded into the jewelry world, too, launching her first collection of jewelry for the SS10 season. The collection debuted on the SS10 Milly runway, comprised of all kinds of baubles–rings, bracelets and necklaces–and stays true to the sophisticated, colorful and unique Milly aesthetic.
The adorable line features a mix of 18 karat-plated gold, crystal, enamel and acrylic. Conveniently priced from $85-$325, the collection will begin to hit specialty and department stores as well as online retailers starting in early February. My picks? Hard to choose, as I am a sucker for both enamel and gold, and the collection is choc-full of both. If I HAD to choose, I’d say the gold, baubly-layered necklace, one of the thick, gold bands and most definitely the thick gold and enamel cuff. I die! May I please just have one of everything? A girl can dream, can’t she?
