It’s an uncommon occurrence that I come across a fashion designer with such a unique stance, I feel the need to post about them in detail–but, behind some of the most inspiring menswear pieces I’ve ever seen, Milan-based Austrian designer Carol Christian Poell was definite motivation.

Each with details that sing like a rare sparrow, his collections are highly sought-after and, because he only shows once a year, can easily be missed. To me, he is the ultimate cult label, producing on feeling instead of demand; collectively, his production and distribution networks consist of just 40 workers worldwide.
