If I really think about it, the last time I owned/wore a pair of overalls (aka bibs) was back in 3rd grade. I was never the tomboy type, so my “overalls” were actually the denim latch top with a floral skirt bottom (somewhat of a bib dress if you will). But usually when I think about bibs I picture either someone doing some painting around the house or a small town farmer. So, you can imagine my surprise when I was stalking the new SS10 runway looks and noticed–in more than one show–that bibs were making a big comeback.

Ok, don’t get me wrong, I’m a sucker for a good runway look. I am not, however, the type of person who will throw on something completely wrong for my body type just because someone named it the new “it” thing–read: parachute MC-hammer style pants.. no thank you. But I think I may be willing to give bibs a try. Seeing them on the runway at Ralph Lauren, Roberto Cavalli, Chloe, Charles Anastase AND Jean Paul Gaultier made me realize this may be more than a fad. So, are you willing to bib it this spring? I think I am.
