If there’s one thing I’ve learned from Hollywood’s sunglasses-loving celebs, it’s that accessories trends come and go; don’t take your eyewear too seriously. Look at Lady Gaga and Kanye West, two of my favorite sunglasses-sporting stars; they’re not afraid of making like RoboCop, or of playing the part of an alien for a night in the name of fashion.

This season, take a queue from daring celebs and designers and get in touch with your inner freak. A great transitional piece, Ann-Sofie Back’s new sunglasses take an on-trend shape and incorporate an element that’s somehow imaginative, goofy and sexy at the same time–think sunglasses so hot, they’re melting down your naked face.
