Ambiguous prints and patterns dominated Alexander McQueen’s FW10 collection. Keeping with a muted color palette, McQueen accented his plethora of prints with patent leather, fur and wool outwear. Bank-heist ski masks and what seemed to resemble dust masks only solidified McQueen’s signature morbidity within the collection. Aside from the human bone and burning feather prints, McQueen’s suits were ultra-tailored, exuding sophistication amongst the most eccentric prints. Never one to abandon his unconventional approach to fashion, this collection is exemplifies McQueen’s ever-evolving fashion genius.
