Fashion: Cult Status

Peek at Peachoo + Krejberg

Metallics, see-through tops and knee-high mesh socks are just a few of the noteworthy pieces in the ultra-modern, elegant Peachoo + Krejberg SS10 collection. The French label was conceived by designers Peachoo Datwani and Roy Krejberg, who were not afraid to incorporate darker hues into their spring collection. Their latest also includes light, draped fabrics reminiscent of Grecian togas and ensembles Rihanna wouldn’t hesitate to rock on the red carpet.

Leather shorts, which I love, were shown as under-layers, peeking out beneath geometric, metallic cutout dresses and asymmetric, black mesh tops. Speaking of black mesh, the aforementioned sheer knee-highs–an edgy take on the current sock trend–perfectly completed each outfit. On the opposite end of the color spectrum, white, cascading tops were the icing on the cake–complete with accordion cutouts that hugged the models from neck to hips.

Consistent with their style, Peachoo + Krejberg brilliantly mixed whimsical, feminine designs with structured, modern pieces for SS10; the fashion forward, yet not ultra-trendy, collection is among my season favorites. Select Peachoo + Krejberg items are currently on sale at Far Fetch and Anastasia Boutique.
