Here at Corridor 40, we have become fans of certain cult brands–Nice Collective, G-Star, Rag & Bone and Wrath Arcane, to name a few. We’ve professed our love for them and have swooned over the samples that have crossed our paths during photo shoots. We’re fans. Now, luckily for us, we can find all of our favorite cult status labels at Brigade in Cleveland and the recently-opened Columbus, Ohio location. Is it weird to say that I have a crush on a boutique? Because I think I do.

The brainchild of Brian O’Neil, co-designer of Wrath Arcane, Brigade opened in 2004 with the intention to take the emphasis off of mainstream fashion. It is truly an independent label oasis in the Midwest. Just recently, Brigade launched their online store–so, even if you can’t make it out to the Buckeye State, you’ll still be able to join the Brigade. With labels like Morphine Generation, Shades of Greige, Nudie and Nom De Guerre, I consider the site fashion porn.

Boys, take a gander and invest in your wardrobe. Ladies, hold tight while they update the women’s store with new inventory. I’m a card carrying member of the Brigade. When will you join?
