When I first saw the collection, I over-analyzed each element: What was the designer thinking when sketching this piece? How did he create the lies of that dress? If not careful, Ennio Capasa’s SS10 runway collection for CoSTUME NATIONAL could overwhelm your senses.
First, there’s the incredible fluidity of his designs; the swaying and draping of each piece are intriguing as hell. Somehow, even the structured pieces move. Then, there are his chosen accessories; the combination of the killer ready-to-wear collection with the stunning handbags, shoes, bracelets and necklaces may be too much for some to take in. Just remember–when wearing the latest CoSTUME NATIONAL collection, as with any fierce fashions, wear with caution.
