GO LEFT ON HOUSTON FOR FALL

As much as I love the warmth of summer, and all of the sundresses and sandals that go with it, I always get excited for fall. I can never wait to bust out my cozy sweaters, corduroys, jackets and boots. In fact, while bored last night, I began the process of the closet changeover- when all the summer clothes go out and get put away, and all my fall faves come back to play.

Even though I love all of my staples, I have to buy a few new pieces, right? A girl’s gotta stay within the times. For this, I look to Left on Houston, new this fall at Mary Janes. I was drawn to this line because of the lush knits and sweaters. One may think there isn’t much innovation or interest in sweater dressing, but that is definitely not true. I found myself loving every piece- the textures, the comfort, the sophistication and the ease of wear. The line consisting of jackets, tops, cardigans and dresses was started by husband and wife team, Danny and Carla Hogg. Launched in Fall 08, Left on Houston quickly moved into impressive retailers like Revolveclothing.com, National Jean Company, Fred Segal, and now, Mary Janes.
