Lollapalooza was a few weeks ago in Chicago and, if you didn’t get to road trip it to the event of the year, the word on the street is that it was awesome. I’ve never been, so I’m making it my mission to head up there next year and stop living vicariously through friends who go. I love concerts but, more than that, I love to see what people in the audience are wearing.  Every year, I go online to check out what kind of wild and strangely fashionable clothes are being spotted at the annual music festival.  Anyone who knows me knows I love Chicago, and I feel like certain events like Lollapalooza finally put a spotlight on how Midwesterners get down with their stylish selves.

With that being said, I decided to make my look of the week not a runway look that I am loving, but a street style pic I found on style.com.  Vogue’s website always does a good job of covering the styles shown at Lollapalooza, so it is usually the first website I check.  There were the wacky and creative, as well as the fashion-forward and casual chic.  For some reason, the picture of this girl stood out for me the most.  Her outfit looks effortless, and I love how it all comes together. And, even though you can tell it’s raining, and she is probably miserable, she is still so chic.  I also found a pic of Living Things band member, Eve Berlin, who is from St. Louis! His Levi’s vest and ray bans are the perfect look for a Lollapalooza weekend.
