Ever since my sister and I were mistaken for members of the group Wild Orchid while wearing belly shirts backstage at an O-Town concert (possibly the lamest sentence ever typed in a fashion blog), I have been keeping tabs on Stacy Ferguson, aka Fergie.
Despite an uber-impressive singing career, her most noteworthy accomplishment to date–in my opinion–is her recently-unveiled Fergie shoe line, which she designed in collaboration with local Brown Shoe.
A favorite among Saint Louis Fashion Week designers, the Fergie Teema–which Kait Bolongaro and Stuart Trevor fancied more than any other–is undoubtedly my next purchase. Inspired by Lee Holden’s brilliant styling, I plan to pair the leather gladiator platform with fingerless gloves through fall. Very rocker chick, which–of course–I love!
I’m super-excited about my new accessories, but not so much so that I’m gonna pee my pants–regardless of Fergie’s trendsetting ways…
