But, despite crazy-long hours, I’ve still made a point of keeping up with the unveilings of the Fall/Winter collections. I mean, it’s quite possible that innovative high-fashion is the source of my pre-Fashion Week powers–though, really, I’m thinking it’s Diet Mountain Dew.

So many shows have wowed me this season. I am especially loving with the “superhero” styles seen on the runways of such power players as Balmain (above, left), Nina Ricci (above, right) and Louise Goldin. Too good! Something is telling me not to reference “Xtina” here by saying that fashion “keeps gettin’ better“. I think I’ll just go to bed instead…
